Top heavy Jones traded to Jets

To NY: Jones, 2007 second round pick
To Chicago: 37th pick in this year's draft

I think Jones was worth more than that.

I think that loss in the Super Bowl could mean even bigger changes for the team before next season. Management might be trying to fix every weak part of the Bears' performance from that game (excluding Grossman's) in one fell swoop this one offseason.

The quote, "I've made a huge mistake" comes to mind.

also, I hear Lance Briggs is asking to be traded because he doesn't like his franchise player label.

goodbye, TJ. You were as reliable as a Leatherman. We will miss you.

Also, if Ced doesn't learn how to pick up some blitzers, Rex is gonna be missing you even more, exponentially compounding the dissapointment and despair of Bears fans everywhere.

And Briggs is quoted as saying "I will do everything in my power to not play for this organization this season." The Bears own him, literally, and they don't have to trade him. If he holds out, he doesn't get paid. For each game he chooses to miss, that's 450K out of his pocket. His salary for all of last year was less than that.

He'll be on the field for sure, IMO.
