Wingfest

And for my second post regarding chicken wings, I advise anyone with a taste for the grease to read on...

ALUMNI CLUB TO HOST 5th ANNUAL “WING FEST” BENEFITING THE WOODFIELD AREA CHILDREN’S ORGANIZATION

Alumni Club, located at 871 East Algonquin Road in Schaumburg, has once again partnered with W.A.C.O., the Woodfield Area Children’s Organization, to host the fifth annual Wing Fest on Sunday, July 30. The fun begins at 12:00 pm and lasts until 5:00 pm, rain or shine.

A mere $15 donation at the door benefits WACO and provides unlimited wings, two drink tickets, raffle prizes and live entertainment, as the band “Déjà Vu” will perform. Sample wings in four different categories — mild, hot, extreme and creative — from various area restaurants and bars and decide who has the best wings in the Northwest suburbs. Participating restaurants include: Moretti’s, Finn McCool’s Irish Sports Pub, Assembly American Bar, Baba Luci’s, Dover Straits, Hooters, Neighborhood Inn, Rosati ‘s, Stone Wood Ale House, Sponge Reed and T.G.I Friday’s. Judges will award a best restaurant in each category, and participants will be the judge of the best wings overall when they award the “People’s Choice Award”. Patrons can also enjoy $2 Miller drafts and $3 House drinks all day long.

Attendees must be 21 and over. Visit www.alumniclubchicago.com for more information.
