Haha, yeah I was fully expecting the most dugg coment to be, 'overpriced'!

I'd rather they charge for the album than see or hear Billy Corgan in any more car commercials.

Or, you know what, this tactic might just be a way of getting in front of the 'nobody bought the record' story.

Hang it up already dudez!

I love the middle article you didn't circle as well: "Smashing Pumpkins blame iTunes for album demise"...really? Really, that was the problem?

I don't know guys, I know it's been cool to slag Billy since 1979, but I have to step in. I mean, sometimes he must just feel like a rat in a cage. It's hard being from the suburbs and then taking off on a rocket to celebrity. 6 albums and 600 head shavings since their rise to prominence, the Pumpkins are still rockin' yesterday, today and tonight. Tonight, I plan on purchasing this album for zero dollars. And furthermore, I fucking hate Billy Corgan.

Actually, by hilarious, I was referring more to the Kanye "I'm gonna let you finish" trend -- but you're all right, the free album idea is much funnier here.

Hahahaha, I never even saw that the first time around. I hope that trend enjoys a long life on the internets boards.

lol. Oh man, neither did I. But I am loving that shit. My favorite was in a text from last night:

(404): i hope kanye doesn't show up to patrick swayze's funeral. " i'll let you get back to your funeral in a minute...but michael jackson had the best death of the year. just sayinnn".
