dude i was thinking the same thing. was listening to it online and was surprised how good it sounded. i love how classical music synching is explained away and ashlee simpson gets the wrath of the media.
Don't feel bad about saying how good it sounded... it did sound good! It was great. It just happened to be coming from a recording. But, still, I am going to have to deduct one Hit Point from your Audiophile Aura Power.

I understand the explanation from a logistical point of view.. but still, what a bummer.
I was commenting to Roasty when we were watching that I couldn't believe how good it sounded. guess i shouldn't have :)

i think the difference is that Ashlee Simpson by all reasonable assumptions ISN'T capable of actually sounding like her playback.
but, even assuming she actually could sing, if she had to use playback because she was in a neck brace, I bet she'd get some more slack.
I just wish Itzhak would have busted out a jig.
